Key Responsibilities:

  • The Creative Direction, Design & Development of the PEDDER RED collections through
  • the partnership and support of the GPD
  • To be able to work independently to establish & develop the core product base as well
  • as original & aspirational signature product for the brand
  • Responsible for overall inspiration and direction for the brand and for each delivery,
  • from concepts, key trends, colours, materials & rationale to final samples
  • Translate the trends of the season to be right for Pedder Red
  • Drive growth by focusing on and strengthening opportunity classifications
  • Continue to expand and oversee infrastructure to support growth in new
  • classifications
  • Responsible for overseeing/reviewing design/PD team and all projects relating to the
  • development of the brand through the product
  • Meet deadlines
  • Partner with the PR CBO team and all CBO teams within the group on a consistent basis
  • to understand needs of the business and provide feedback on best/worst sellers with
  • our own brand but also with the competition.

Skills Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of related experience
  • BA or BFA degree required, preferably in footwear/product design & innovation, fashion design, product development or an equivalent combination of experience and knowledge, skills, and abilities to fulfill the criteria of the role
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to recruit, retain, motivate and develop
  • a team
  • Demonstrate a high taste level and creative ability including merchandising ability,
  • commercial sense and market knowledge.
  • Ability to research and apply market information
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem solving ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English essential/Chinese optional
  • Ability to work well with multiple individuals from a variety of different departments
